The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) along with ITEC S.A.S developed this pre-study in order to verify whether the results of previously conducted studies by the IDB, such as disaster risk profile studies and local disaster and risk studies, provide the required data to build the loss exceedance curves at the local level for flood hazard. These curves should allow for both, the evaluation of the exposure original conditions and after mitigation measures have been implemented. In addition, it is evaluated whether the available information allows the use of the CAPRA platform for the dynamic risk assessment, making a diagnosis of the availability of information from previous studies and specifying the missing data.
